2. What are your office hours?

Our Office is opened from 9am – 6pm. Monday to Friday. 10am -4pm on Saturdays.

3. How much is the Tuition fees?

The tuition cost is $395. This includes 2 weeks in class and 6 hours of Behind the Wheel lesson. If you need classroom only, the cost is $175.

4. What happens if I miss a day of class, or if I can't attend a day?

No problem! You can arrange to make up the day that you missed during a later class. Please be advised that students may not miss more than 4 days of class. However, MVA policy requires that all students attend the first day of class, so please keep in mind that you cannot miss the first day.

5. What payment methods do you accept?

For the standard Driver’s Education Program, we accept cash and all major Debit and Credit Cards.

6. What type of services do you offer?

We offer different levels of Driver Education:


  • Driver’s Education

  • Additional Driving Practices

  • 3-hour Alcohol and Drug Education

  • Driver’s Improvement Program

  • MVA Car Rental

7. Should I take the Drug and Alcohol program or the full Driver Education program?

If you have a Learner’s Permit, or have never held a driver’s license, you should take the full Driver’s Education program. This includes 30 hours of classroom instruction and 6 hours of driving practice. This class is required in order to obtain a Provisional License.

The 3-hour Drug and Alcohol program is for students who have an international license or a license from another country. After completing this course, you must pass both a written test and a driving test at the Maryland state MVA.

8. Do you offer adult driving lessons?

Yes, we offer lessons at a minimum of 2 hours per day at the rate of $60 per hour. Discounts are available when you book 10 hours or more.

9. Will my lessons use an automatic transmission only?

All our cars are automatic because we presently have a low demand for manual.

10. Do you take students to their driving tests?

Yes, at a cost of $150.

11. How long do you keep student records on file?

We keep all completed student records for three years. Incomplete student records will be held for three years.

12. How do I schedule my BTW lessons?

13. Do I need a learner’s permit to take the Driver’s Ed class?

You do NOT need a learner’s permit to start Driver’s Education. Many use the course to prepare for the MVA learner’s permit test. (You can apply for a learner’s permit at the age of 15 and 9 months.)

The Driver’s Education course consists of two parts: a classroom portion, and an in-car driving portion. Students may take the classroom portion without a learner’s permit, and then complete the road training after obtaining a permit.

You can either pay online with a credit card to reserve a seat, or you may bring payment with you on the first day of class.

General Questions

1. What are the requirements to obtain a learner’s permit?

The required age for a Learner’s Permit is 15 years and 9 months old, with co-signature of a parent or guardian required for all applicants under age 18. New drivers must pass vision and knowledge tests at the MVA. The vision requirement is 20/40 vision (or corrective lenses). The knowledge test is a 20-question exam taken on a computer. Obtaining a Learner’s Permit costs $50.

Special-needs students may set up a verbal examination by appointment only. Please contact the MVA if you require this service.

2. What are the requirements to obtain a Provisional License?

The required age for a Provisional License is 16 years and 6 months old, with co-signature of a parent or guardian required for all applicants under age 18. Other requirements include: successful completion of the full Driver’s Education program, a minimum of 60 hours supervised driving practice outside of class, and a valid Learner’s Permit held for at least nine months. New drivers who meet these requirements are eligible to test for the Provisional License. This is a driving test, scheduled by appointment only.

Notice

You MUST allow three (3) business days from the date of completion in order for your information to successfully be posted with the MVA prior to testing for your Provisional License. You will also receive paperwork via mail from us regarding completion of the program.
